Dave Heller

PRINCIPAL

In his leadership role at Voluble, Dave oversees every phase of the analytical work that culminates in the delivery of rigorous analyses for reliance by experts testifying in complex commercial litigation. He specializes in designing social media studies that bolster an expert’s opinion with relevant consumer commentary that speaks directly to the at-issue claims. He has expertise in statistical analysis, natural language processing, and research design. His work at Voluble consistently stands up to the rigors of commercial litigation and has led to numerous favorable outcomes for clients.

Dave draws on nearly a decade of experience in litigation consulting that includes a broad range of cases involving intellectual property disputes, consumer products, antitrust, false claims, and false advertising. His experience spans the full lifecycle of commercial litigation, including the development of case strategy, expert identification, design and deployment of analyses, integration of analyses into expert reports and synthesis with other sources of evidence, rebuttal analyses and responses, and deposition/trial testimony preparation.

Prior to joining GBX/Voluble, Dave was a Director of Strategic Pricing and Negotiation at PwC Canada where he structured and negotiated complex deals with large PwC clients. His prior experience also includes leadership roles in the telecommunications industry, where he led several digital marketing teams. He holds an Honors of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
